Reflexology is based on the discovery that different areas, points of the feet correspond to certain organs, systems
and structures within the entire body. Gentle pressure is applied to these points (called reflexes) to bring about a
state of relaxation and to stimulate the body's own healing process. This encourages the various body parts and
body systems to work optimally, both individually and as a part of the whole.
Traditional
reflexology
By applying pressure and using massage to stimulate these reflex areas (and over 7000 nerve endings), I am able to detect subtle changes in specific points or zones and clear congestion allowing the flow of energy to be restored and encouraging the body to heal from within.

Reflexology produces a deep state of relaxation and can be used as a treatment and prevention for a wide range of illnesses and complaints including; stress, depression, respiratory problems, IBS
and digestive disorders, headaches, migraines, menstrual problems and back and neck problems, to name but a few.

Reflexology is also beneficial when trying to conceive all the way through to labour.

Reflexology is not therapy used to diagnose illness; it is not a medical treatment. It does not cure any illness but it helps to stimulate the body’s natural ability to heal itself and to
prevent illness from developing.

Please remember: Reflexology is a complementary therapy and should not be used in place of conventional medical care. Always consult a GP or other health professional for medical attention and advice.
