With our busy schedules, commitments, and high levels of stress; it's sometimes difficult to take full day out for yourself.
This  evening at the beautiful grounds of PURUSHA RETREATS is intended as your "mini escape" from the hustle and bustle of daily life, A chance to focus on your own needs in terms of mind, body and soul as well as to have some invaluable quiet time away to simply BE.
An afternoon of soothing and nurturing Yin yoga, a slow and mainly floor based practice to work on deeper tissues of the body by holding postures for longer ( 3-5 minutes). We will hopefully create space and balance in the physical, energetic body but also in the mind.
While in postures, I will guide you through basics of Vipassana practice ( buddhist meditation technique) known as insight meditation. It is the practice of being in the present moment while being mindful of thoughts and feelings without attaching to them. Through the practice of Vipassana, people learn to observe the mind and body objectively, without attachment or aversion which further helps us to increase our capacity to bring more  MIINDFULNESS into  our everyday life.
What to expect:
*A mix of Restorative & Yin Yoga with longer holds to deeply rest the body and mind
* Vipassana meditation, Pranayama, Intention setting & poetry,
*Mini yoga Nidra
* Free time around grounds of Purusha, moment of silence in the woodland with sensory experience
*Space to pause, breathe and nurture your inner Being
*Space for individual reflection, and shared connection
*Drinks , vegan snacks included
*Props, mats provided
*Roasting marshmallows by the fire (optional)
This 'quick fix' retreat will be a perfect opportunity to feel more grounded, relaxed, reconnected to Self; and most importantly, fulfilled & present in mind & body.
Suitable for all adults. All abilities welcome- from the curious beginner to the advanced yogi!
